Our Founder

Africa's energy future will not be built by technology alone. It will be shaped by ideas, policy, capital, leadership, and bold execution.

The Thinking Behind RE.Think

Wangari Muchiri

Wangari Muchiri is a renewable energy engineer, entrepreneur and policy strategist who has spent over 16 years working on one question: what will it take to move Africa's clean energy potential from ambition to scale?

Her work has spanned engineering, sustainability, policy, investment and renewable energy markets. As former Africa Director at the Global Wind Energy Council and the Global Renewables Alliance, she worked with governments and industry across more than 15 African countries to strengthen markets, build capacity and accelerate renewable energy deployment.

RE.Think Energy is the next chapter of that work, bringing together the policy, capital, technology and execution needed to turn opportunity into projects and projects into impact.
