On the floor at the Africa Solar Expo 2026

RE.Think joined developers, manufacturers and off-grid solar providers on the show floor and in panel sessions at Carnivore Grounds, Nairobi.

Opening session stage at the Africa Power and Energy Expo and Africa Solar Expo 2026

RE.Think attended the Africa Solar Expo, held alongside the Africa Power and Energy Expo at Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi from 29 to 31 July 2026. Under the banner "Africa's Energy. Our Future. Our Power.", the event brought together developers, manufacturers and off-grid solar providers from across the region and beyond for three days of exhibitions, panels and networking.

On the ground

Our team, represented by Wangari Muchiri, spent the three days moving between the exhibition floor and the panel sessions. The show floor featured exhibitors spanning home and industrial energy storage, solar components and off-grid solutions, including a stop at the GLGW stand to see their commercial and industrial energy storage systems, part of a broader wave of storage and off-grid solar technology on display throughout the halls.

Why it matters

Events like this one are where the off-grid and on-grid sides of Africa's energy sector meet in person: manufacturers, distributors, developers and investors comparing notes on what is deploying at scale. For RE.Think, it is exactly the kind of convening we value, a chance to see the technology and the market conversation moving together, and to build the relationships that turn into project work.
